Happy Holidays!
I hope you have had a good 2025! It was great getting to see some of you this year, and I hope to meet more of my subscribers in 2026.
Final Conferences of 2025
2025 was another year packed with amazing conferences! My final two conferences of the year were Black Hat MEA and Cyber Marketing Con.
Cyber Marketing Con 2025
Cyber Marketing Con is a cybersecurity marketing conference hosted by the Cyber Security Marketing Society. The conference was hosted last week in Austin, TX and ran from December 7 - 10. This was my first time attending, and I was very impressed. They did a great job having sessions on all areas of marketing, including content creation and influencer marketing, which were my favorite sessions since I work in those areas both at my day job and outside of work with podcasting and conference speaking. There were some entertaining events, like the Dress Your Era welcome reception and the pro wrestling offsite event, where attendees enjoyed pro wrestling and great food. There were many networking opportunities outside those two events. There were a lot of people that don’t work directly in marketing, and they were enjoying and learning from the event. I plan to attend next year, and I hope to see you there. CyberMarketingCon 2026 will take place on November 15 - 18, 2026. Tickets are available now and you can get them here.
Black Hat Middle East & Africa 2025
Black Hat MEA took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from December 2 - 4. This was my second time speaking there, and I had a great time. It was a busy week, but very enjoyable. I gave a presentation titled “Optimal Offensive Security Programs” and participated on a panel alongside some other CFP review board members to discuss the talks that were submitted this year. I hosted nine podcast episodes, including a live episode each day, to discuss the conference with some speakers.
You can find the episode on your favorite platform, which can be found here: https://phillipwylieshow.com/subscribe
Upcoming Events
I always love connecting with people in my network and my podcast listeners. I will record a live episode of The Phillip Wylie Show at Boardwalk Bytes Information Security Conference in Atlantic City, NJ, on July 11. Tickets are still available and can be purchased here: https://boardwalkbytes.org/
Simply Offensive Season & Podcast Finale
After two seasons and 16 episodes, Simply Offensive has ended. Simply Cyber has stopped hosting podcasts from other podcasters. Simply Offensive did not last long. I had the option to move the podcast and continue it, but with the Phillip Wylie Show, the content was too similar to continue.
The last episode features Len Noe, the first augmented ethical hacker.
Phillip Wylie Show Season Finale
I ended season 3 (2025) with 52 episodes. Episode 52 features my friend and fellow podcaster Chris Glanden, the host of the BarCode Security Podcast.
Check out his episode on YouTube or your favorite podcast platform (https://pod.link/1685564407).
WIFI Pineapple Pager Holiday Giveaway (Sponsored by Suzu Labs)
